MANOWAR's lone UK date has official sold out. The O2 Academy in Birmingham has released an official statement this morning, announcing that there are no tickets left.

"Manowar's British fans have shown the world that TRUE metal is not dead in the UK! Manowar will shake the ground and blow the roof off the O2 Academy in Birmingham on March 27 2011, during their only UK appearance! Death To All Disbelievers! Fuck The World! Hail And Kill!"

Vielleicht sind wir gerade am Knackpunkt, ob Manowar eine kreative Band bleibt, die neue Alben aufnimmt, oder ob das Ganze zu einer Retro-Roadshow wird, wie Status Quo, die Rolling Stones oder ... öhm ... Angel Witch.

Ich hoffe ja schon darauf, den Götterhammer irgendwann zu hören zu bekommen, aber daran, dass das in näherer Zukunft passieren wird, glaube ich aktuell nicht.

Wenn ich jetzt sehe, dass wir bei Helloween in Kaufbeuren auch schon bei 40 Euro sind, dann ist das natürlich keine Rechtfertigung für Manowarsche Ticketpreise und noch weniger für das Geschwätz von wegen "kein richtiger Fan" (was denkt denn Joey über den Brother, der kein Geld hat und die Family ernähren muss), aber es zeigt, dass die Konzertpreise langsam echt jenseits von Gut und Böse sind.

Du denkst doch nicht Joey denkt wirklich an das Brotherkonzept? Es geht nur darum das Geld aus der Hose zu ziehen, sonst ist aufgrund jahrelanger Verschwendung bald der Ofen aus.
