Ist jetzt nicht direkt eine Rezension, aber ich habe den Tourbericht im That's it! zu Wizard/Sacred Steel/Goddess of desire als Sternstunde des Journalismus in Erinnerung. Weiß gar nicht mehr, wie oft ich den gelesen habe, aber mich hat es jedes Mal zerrissen.

Sehr schön fand ich diesen Doppelverriss im aktuellen Hellpike. Oder, was macht man mit Bands, die immer wieder dieselbe Platte rausbringen?

GRAVELAND - Fire Chariot of Destruction (No Colours)
Well, this is just like the last thousand songs of Graveland: boring, unspectacular and just meaningless. "Fire Chariot of Destruction" sounds like a weak attempt to get back to "Thousand Swords", but it fails as it nips from the bud. Some keyboard passages come close to the ones on that cult-album, but all in all the general sound is too synthetic and not as strong as on "Thousand Swords", that also goes for the song-material. Here and there some evil melodies do appear, but there is no real killer. Please attack again with thousand swords and prepare some food for the herds of raven.

Als ich eben bei musiksammler war, habe ich mir exakt dasselbe gedacht. So ein Blödsinn! Vor allem höre ich mir doch nicht mehrere Alben einer Band an, der ich sowieso nichts abgewinnen kann.

Der hat keine schlechte Laune, der hat nichts zu tun...

Inzwischen hat er noch zig weitere Alben und Bands abgewatscht. Na ja, scheint wohl ein "Spaßvogel" zu sein.

Natürlich, ich bewerte ja die Alben nach meiner Meinung oder wofür soll Bewertung abgeben sonst stehen?
Wenn ich sachlich über die Musik schreiben will könnte ich ja ein Review verfassen.

hast du denn tatsächlich all diese Alben komplett (und im besten Fall mehrfach) angehört? Und wenn ja, warum, wenn du die Band doch so offensichtlich nicht magst?
