Eigentlich gehört es ja schon in den Beichtthread, aber ich muss gestehen, dass ich diese Version wirklich mag. Man möchte ja fast anfangen zu weinen, wenn man Erics Stimme hier hört.^^

Was mich wundert, warum haben MANOWAR keine Single CD mit dem Song rausgebracht?
Trackliste könnte wie folgt aussehen:
1.) "Silent Night"
2.) "Silent Night" [Instrumental Version]
3.) "Silent Night" [Spoken by Joey]
4.) "Silent Night" [Radio Edit]

Dazu könnte man die Single für jedes Land noch mit einem separaten Untertitel ausstatten:
German Edition: "Silent Night" - Frohe Weihnachten
English Edition: "Silent Night" - Merry Christmas
French Edition: "Silent Night" - Joyeux Noel
Spanish Edition: "Silent Night" - Feliz Navidad

Oha, die Kritik ist zwar moderat formuliert, aber für HoD-Verhältnisse kommt das ja schon einer Revolution gleich.

Ich bin der Auffassung, dass der entscheidende Knackpunkt für die Band war, nicht bei Nuclear Blast zu verlängern. Bei Blast hätten sie einen Rentenvertrag gehabt, inkl. TV-Auftritte in Deutschland, hohe Medienpräsenz, gute Connections zu den Magazinen...

Hättet sie in Glasgow sehen müssen.2 Stunden spielzeit ,mittendrin 15 minuten pause.The Power mussten sie neu beginnen weil Eric den Text vergas.wie bei : black wind fire and steel auch.Eric hatte eine Haarfrisur wie Prinz Eisenherz .nur das Prinz Eisenherz mehr auf symetrie beim schneiden achtet.Die security wollte mich nicht mit Hustenbonbons reinlassen weil die Band angst vor Fluggeschossen hätte.
Letzes Jahr in Kerkrade war ein Triumph, aber das...???

Das kann ich mir vorstellen.

Unabhängig vom musikalischen und dem Gelaber würde mich ja mal interessieren, ob das Geschäftsverhalten von Joey schon immer so grenzwertig war, oder ob es da einen bestimmten Punkt in der Karriere gab, ab dem er einfach den Kontakt zur Realität verloren hat.

Ich würde sagen, seitdem er das Management selber übernommen hat, gings steil abwärts..vorher waren Manager da, die seine Egotrips ausgebügelt haben.
