The CD's are all the same. So why Special Edition?. The first are just enhanced with a patch. Nothing wrong with that.

There is no special edition. First copies just come with free bonus patch, that's all. If you hate it - throw it in the garbage and voila - problem solved! It is not like I'm pulling some Rise Above trick to overcharge people - patch or no patch, you pay the same $12.99 so I really don't understand why some people are jumping the gun over it.

If there is some special valid reason that escapes me, please feel free to enlighten me

If there is no difference to the "normal" version (except the patch) then everything is okay.
I'm just sick of this "special edition overkill" that has become standard for some reason.

First of all: great news and good to see this gem gets the treatment it deserves. Plus I can finally start looking for an expensive copy of the first edition.

As for the patch-thing: I don't see anything wrong with it. And if it helps Iordan to sell the first 100 copy a bit quicker and by that amortize earlier, that's absolutely fine with me, especially since everyone who orders at a later point gets the exact same disc.
