Report: KISS Dynasty Is Alive, New Album Coming
Love them or hate them; 70’s theatrical rock band KISS is alive and well. The band recently announced on their official website that a new album is in the works and will be released in September 2009.

The new KISS album is the band's first studio album since Psycho Circus back in 1998.

Lead singer PAUL STANLEY is producing the new album and reports that, “it is all written within the band and it rocks.” Paul also says, “guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer will both handle lead vocals at some points on the album.”

Bass guitarist GENE SIMMONS was quoted as saying, “The idea is to make the record quickly, like we did at the time of Destroyer, Rock And Roll Over and Love Gun. The idea is to work well, little by little, we can not spend too much time in the studio, and it has to be fast.”

mal ein wort zu den sogenannten gastschreibern.dass das da jedesmal so ein thema wird gerade bei KISS werd ich nie raffen. kiss haben klip und klar stellung bezogen das alle songs von ihnen geschrieben wurden diesmal . egal aus welchem jahrzehnt,jede große band arbeitet mit gastschreibern. die eine mehr die andere weniger. nur wird das eben nicht so puplik gemacht.
wenn nur 70% von dem wahr ist was man uns fürs neue album verspricht ist das ein traum !
abgesehen sehr sehr mutig.
diese ewigen vinnie witzig rufe können auch nur von leuten kommen die grad mal die "Creatures Of The Night" und die hits kennen.
der typ war ein abgehobenes arrogantes arschloch. und so einer versaut jede band chemie. zum glück haben gene und paul das frühzeitig erkannt und ihn rausgeworfen.
hoffe nur das album kommt noch dies jahr. mal hieß es juni,dann juli,jetzt september oder gar november

Dem Zeitstempel nach solltest Du bald bei "Alive!" sein. Welch eine rockende Göttergabe! Bläst die Studioversionen locker weg. Danach kommt dann meine Lieblingsstudiophase mit Eddie Kramer und Bob Ezrin und den Soloalben. Also Kiss ab "Alive!" bis zur "Double Platinum" ist schon ein starkes Stück Musik.
Man könnte im Kiss-Thread mal die Alben einzeln vorstellen... Oli, Piledriver und Co.: auf auf!

Die neue KISS soll nun ab Anfang Oktober erhältlich sein (am 6.?) Die CD erscheint als 3er-Disc: dem neuen Album, einer CD mir neu eingespielten Hits sowie einer DVD.... das riecht nach WalMart-Edition

Also die aktuelle JOUNREY gab es für $11,99 und die kommende FOREIGNER soll auch als 3-Disc-Edition für $11,99 angeboten werden... denke und hoffe, dass ein paar eBay Shops die CD's wieder im Angebot haben

Edit: As reported exclusively by BraveWords.com on August 2nd, KISS manager Doc McGhee has confirmed to Classic Rock magazine that the band's new album will be titled Sonic Boom, and that it will be released exclusively through Wal-Mart stores in the US as part of a package including a disc of re-recorded KISS classics (already available in Japan) and a live DVD.
