Meine Teilnahme am HOD fällt leider kurzfristig ins Wasser. Ich hätte daher noch einen Platz im 10-Bett-Zimmer im Babelfish für Samstagnacht abzugeben. Interessenten (Simon?) melden sich am besten so schnell wie möglich, sprich vor heute Nacht, ansonsten kann ich nicht mehr stornieren.

Saint Vitus would like to regretfully inform all of our European fans that our lead vocalist Wino was detained by the Norwegian police and immigrations officers for possession of illegal substances since Sunday November 9th. As of 4 pm yesterday evening (Nov. 11th) we were informed by his Norwegian defense attorney that he would more than likely be released that same day and be able to continue the remaining dates of our European tour. This morning we received notification that Wino was being deported today back to the U.S. with no hope to remain in Scandanavia or anywhere in the EU.

SAINT VITUS WILL CONTINUE THE REMAINING DATES OF THE TOUR!!!

Our sincere apologies to all of our fans, the promoters, booking agents and especially our Norwegian fans and promoter for the cancelled show. We will still deliver the HEAVY sound to all of our friends in Europe and it is our hope that everyone will understand our position to go forward with the remaining dates without Wino. David Chandler and Henry Vasquez along with a few surprise guests will take over vocal duties and this will be a rare opportunity to see Vitus with main songwriter David Chandler vocalizing his tormented tales of pain, heartache and DOOM. We hope to still see all of you on our remaining dates. FUCK THAT WEAK SHIT!!!!

Leider müssen wir euch mitteilen, dass Wino am Samstag nicht bei Saint Vitus singen kann. Die Band wird aber weiterhin spielen mit Dave Chandler und diversen Gastsängern. Hier das komplette Statement der Band mit allen Infos:

Harter Tobak....Sch...

Was ist das eigentlich für ein Unfug, dass er sich nicht mehr in der kompletten EU aufhalten darf, weil er in NORWEGEN mit Stoff erwischt worden ist?

Hoffe aber, dass es das jetzt nicht für ihn war in SAINT VITUS, wo sich Wino und Chandler jetzt anscheinend mittlerweile wieder vertragen haben...

Damit liegt für mich ein dunkler Schatten über dem WE .

Grundsätzlich natürlich erst mal Scheisse... Für UNS Fans, da wir uns auf Saint Vitus mit Wino gefreut haben, und natürlich auch für die restlichen Vitus-Jungs - SIE haben sich das wohl auch anders vorgestellt (Fuck the weed-shit). Schade.

Wino ist aber nicht zum ersten Mal in Europa und weiß daher eigentlich, was erlaubt ist und was nicht. Von dem her finde ich es schade von Ihm, durch seine Kifferei und dem damit einhergehenden Gesetzesverstoß die ganze Misere verursacht zu haben...

Als wir früher "Living backwards" gecovert haben, hat mein Gitarrist den Song gesungen: Rückwärts.

Der hatte so eine Inselbegabung und konnte sich mit seinem Bruder auch komplett rückwärts unterhalten.

Der ist aber am HoD nicht dabei.

Der Mongole ist zu weit entfernt, den Vietnamesen am Babelfish und den Pakistani am Dom kennen wir schon auswendig.

Sushi gibt es im Sushi Sapporo, direkt dort, wo früher das Haus der 150 Biere war. Bahnhofstr. 22. Mittagsbuffet 9,90 Abendbuffet 16,90. Mein Mann hat es letztes Jahr getestet und war begeistert.
(Wegen unterschiedlicher Prioritäten am Festival werden wir wohl wieder nicht gemeinsam essen gehen.)

Oh, das ist schön nah und etwas günstiger... .

Hoffentlich kann ich alle in meiner Gruppe dazu überreden... .
