Hallo Freunde,
" Now, after over 30 years, the original members of the band are gathering together for one, special performance at the 21st edition of the Keep It True festival in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany in April, 2018. For the first time in three decades, Doug Lee (vocals), Ed Aborn (drums), Hal Dunn (guitars), and Ed Hauser (bass) along with guitarist Todd Grubbs (formerly of Florida’s Atomic Opera) will share the same stage for a trip back to the old school. With a set that focuses on the original demos and first album, SIREN will summon from the past the power and energy that put them on the map all of those years ago.
To commemorate this special event, the band will also be re-releasing a special, multi-disc package that contains remastered versions of the “Metro-Mercenary” single, “Iron Coffins” demo, “Dead of Night” demo and “No Place Like Home” album along with some new brand material featuring the current incarnation of the band. In addition, limited edition Siren merchandise will be available at the Keep It True festival and online if still available after the performance.
The band is honored and humbled to have been asked to reunite for the opportunity to play at one of Germany’s most respected and longest-running festivals. “It’s hard to believe that a band like SIREN that hasn’t been together in over a quarter century still has fans,” commented drummer and founding member Ed Aborn. “We are all beyond thrilled to have the chance to come together one last time and seal the Siren legacy at a festival whose audience seems like one, big heavy metal family.”
Fans and those interested in following the journey of the band as they prepare for their swan song performance can keep up with Siren at the new web site that will be available by mid-June."

Hi Friends,
we are going to announce two new bands today, but we are going to split it in two newsletter so every band get the attention it deserves. The second newsletter is following in a few hours.
As part of the vibrant heavy metal scene in the Central Florida area during the 1980s, SIREN established themselves as a band whose modest, but devoted following spanned the globe. They set themselves apart early on by foregoing the traditional demo cassette and releasing a vinyl single, “Metro-Mercenary,” as their musical debut. This, along with a well-orchestrated media outreach to fanzines, magazines, and radio stations around the world eventually led to a healthy amount of very positive press coverage. The band would go on to release two, additional demo releases and two, full-length albums before disbanding in 1990.
Now, after over 30 years, the original members of the band are gathering together for one, special performance at the 21st edition of the Keep It True festival in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany in April, 2018.
