Just to make note to follow up Fred:
Curt Breeze was not the Manager or Producer at the time to screw up the trip to Europe... haha. CBU could actually stand for Curt Breeze Unplugged or unavailable (I'm just kidding.)
However, I do enjoy the work on CBU. The vocals kind of remind me of Jesus Christ Superstar..
Fred is an incredible and talented guitar player and smart. Good people! Mike's drums are always powerful and Ed's Riffs and Writing skills are still prominent throughout CBU.
The Original 2nd album (Beg,Borrow & Steel) at the time. (Prior to Lennie's departure), was looking something like:
Ride the Storm
Just a Dream
Forgotten Warrior
Flying Dutchman
Rescue Me
Smell the Roses
Beg,Borrow and Steel
Magic Hills
One
Bible Black
Then there was a long period of time with confusing management, odd singers, Like Ride'em high Cowboy Steve from Texas, a Close Encounter with Melissa the Chili Chef! and Greg the Cannon!
Then the band grabbed knew that they needed to get this material out there, so they grabbed Lennie, re mixed some of the original tunes from BBS, and recorded what is now RFP.
Prof, Flying Dutchman and Forgotten warrior (And One) were recorded as Demos for the 2nd album. They ended up on a bootleg that floated around Europe. Other left over tunes were never recorded in a studio, just on practice cassettes or cheasey 4 tracks. We are anticipating some new studio work in the future. perhaps to record the tunes that were written during that era.
