2005 is going to be a busy year for Cea Serin. They have new members in the band, a new EP in the work, two film scores being written and a full length album also in the works.

We're very pleased to say that the two new members of Cea Serin are Rory Faciane and Erik Gecklar on drums and bass respectively.
Rory is a Percussion Institute of Technology graduate with plenty of studio and live experience. He has worked many times with producer Dave Fortman to tune drums and do studio work. He has appeared on the "Passion of the Christ" soundtrack with Charlotte Church and has most recently worked with Mudvayne on their new album tuning drums.

Erik Geklar comes from the band Self Inflicted (along with Rory) and also brings valuable experience and expertise on the bass. He'll be taking over the bass duties from J. so he can concentrate more on keyboard solos, vocals and other antics.

Cea Serin is also planning up a new EP which will feature two older songs that don't really fit into the band's current mold, as well as some new material. Look for a proper release (non-demo) of the songs "Holy Mother" and "The Illumination Mask" with better production; there may be a cover song there may not be a cover song. There will be some new material though which will undoubtedly push the length of the CD past the expected EP playing length.

J. Lamm will also be finishing up the writing and recording of two movie scores. The first film that will be out is called "A Soul Decision" directed by Kevin White. The second movie that will be finished is tentatively called "From Here" directed by Keith Dixon. There is a current plan to release the soundtrack of "A Soul Decision" in CD form.

The regular full length album is further down the road but will contain all new songs. The current demos of the songs are the absolute best the band has ever done, so if you are a fan of "...where memories combine..." you will indeed love the new work more.

That's the low down as of right now. Currently, Cea Serin will be performing a small show at the Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans, LA with the new lineup. If interested email the band at: CeaSerin@aol.com

Thanks for all the great comments on the board as well, its always nice to hear that the work is enjoyed and appreciated.

Hell YESS!!!

M.
For all the words unspoken, for all the deeds undone,
for all our shattered dreams, for all the songs unsung,
for all the lines unwritten and all our broken hearts,
for all our wounds still bleeding and all our kingdoms come.
