1) Do you like FWX?

2) What do you think about the elections in the USA?

Hm, I don't know, maybe it's just me so no offense to anyone but this strikes me as a bit...odd.

I mean to make your child wear metal related clothing while he or she hasn't made up his/her mind whether s/he likes metal or totally hates its very guts isn't really my cup of tea.
Gotta admit some of the t-shirts are quite funny though

hmmm... well, I'm still trying to digest the new Fates Warning and am listeing to it as often as possible. So far I like it a lot more than Disconnected, especially Jim's guitar tone, which sounds like the tone off of Inside out. I didn't care for his "fuzz" tone on Disconnected... bleh.

There's a lot going on, but If I had anything to gripe about, it's Ray's melody lines, which seem a little...how shall I say.... mono tone? he doesn't get out the 4-5 note range (not counting the vocal harmonies), so his vocals melodies seem a bit bland comapred to the other albums. HE stil has power and soudns great, but there are nto as many "hooks" as I would have hoped for.

Intersting though, my favorite song so far is "Another PErfect Day". It is the song that sounds the least like Fates Warning, and more like Marillion or Pink Floyd... and for some reason, I really, really dig that song! I think it's the one that has the most hooks and melodies so far.

However, it's sounding really good so far all together, and the more I spin it, the more I'm beging to like it.

as far as the elections?

...eeehhh, win some, loose some.

I just hope everyone stops bashing us Americans just becasue the electoral collage picked the "John Wayne"-type presedent to lead us for 4 more years. Eveyone outside the U.S. forgets that us blue-collar workers have no real say in who becomes president, and our votes don't really count. But just for the record... I didn't like either canidate.
