Verfasst: 9. März 2010, 23:09Some of you may remember DARKEST ERA [formerly NEMESIS].Irish heavy metal band who play epic hm with influences ranging from heavy metal to acts like PRIMORDIAL and BATHORY [epic era].
They have a new promo cd available and the myspace track is just killer!!! It's limited to 250 copies so get yer orders in quick if you want one....

"Darkest Era have completed their new Mini CD, "The Oaks Sessions" The 3 track promo CD has been recorded by John Moffatt at Oaks Studios in Enniskillen and has art by Sgraffito. It contains 3 songs; 2 new tracks and a bonus re-recording of "Children of the Gods" from the Nemesis demo.
The two new tracks are a good indication of the kind of songs we are writing for our debut album; "An Ancient Fire Burns" is a natural progression from our last release while "To Face the Black Tide" in shows a darker, doomier side to the band and hinting at how the newer material is sounding. The CD is strictly limited to 250 copies and will be available from the band directly for the price of £3, or pm for paypal address for postage.
We are playing in the Limelight on 13th March where it will be available, duplication delivery permitting. You can listen to the first track, "An Ancient Fire Burns" on our myspace link below. Details of our debut album will hopefully follow in the next few months"
