OK, so let's give him the time he needs.
But this also gives me the opportunity to state that I am also interested in a rerelease. I didn't have time earlier to give it a listen, but what I hear on Youtube sounds great!

Good news, looks like as if Danney Alkana is actually going to re-issue the "Welcome to my Paradise" album, not sure on what format, CD or LP, or both (my guess: CD only). And he's not going to send it to any distributers or stores, but instead selling them on his own. We will see how this will work out...

Let's hope that will not be the case. (Re-)releasing such good music on the worst audio format ever - besides MP3 - is just beyond my comprehension.

Mr.Alkana better drops those guys a line instead of releasing a CD-R by himself:

http://piratespress.com/home/

They are just dealing with the pressing of the LPs or CDs, it's not a label. Maybe someone can forward this adress to him?

Edit: Tim from SKR also tried to get the record re-released but apparently he failed.

Grab your copy while you can, because it's on Acid Nightmare (Alpha Centauri, Crystal Haze) and limited to 400 copies as usual. AN-vinyls tend to sell out in no time, and to my knowlegde, none of their releases have been repressed.
Once again, the whole limited edition thing proves to be counterproductive. More people should be able to purchase this type of music at a fair price, and without being pressed into it just because the Sold out! sign could be up any moment. Having said that, 'Welcome to my paradise' still is essential for anyone into the Ashbury/Winterhawk/Ursa Major school of old-fashioned US-hardrock with an epic, melancholy slant.
