Even I prefer a Vinyl re-release though, I would like to see that record also on CD for the poor masses who do not know the revelation of a turntable.

Good idea, but it won't work. Dennis Bergeron is very much aware of Alkana and has been trying to re-release it. However, Danney Alkana seems not keen on working with any re-issue label and has stated on many occasions he will release it himself (as a vinyl-only release). There was a topic on the Hellride forum around 2006 or so with Danney briefly participating in it.

So, we should at least send this to Danney himself. It would be interesting to know why the planned re-release hasn't been done in the end.

Thanks for the info, Iordan. We'll see if we can get this thing going after all. Sometimes, all it takes is a little incentive, sometimes a bit more.

If we don't even try to be successful with the re-release request, I can't get to sleep anymore!
Try or die, but nothing between!

I WANT A RE-RELEASE!

Mister Alkana, please move your ass to Bergeron's place and figure out a deal you're both happy with :smile2:

Yeah, give it a try by all means. Just don't get discouraged if nothing transpires. I'd love to buy a cd re-issue if available too.

We'll try and put that request across in a dignified and polite manner. :harrr:

We're nearing the 10th of february deadline. So anyone who, for some reason or other, forgot to put in his/her two cents here - now's your chance to do so. :smile2:

Plus we'll have to track down Danney Alkana's current mail address as well. First off, though, we'll try to contact him through his MySpace.

Ladies, gentlemen, creatures of the underground: I inform you that Danney Alkana answered my message, thanking you all for your sincere comments on the 'Welcome to my paradise' album.
Due, however, to matters of a private nature, Danney prefers to discuss things pertaining to a possible reissue at a later date. This will take a few months, so please bear with us.
My thanks to everyone who expressed interest in this long-lost gem of heavy rock music. Sometimes it is just downright foolish to let sleeping dogs lie.
