Alright, that's a hard one. Gonna get back to you tomorrow as I'm too tired to compose a list that's anywhere near complete right now ;)

Wellllllll..... Some additions are in order!

Jewel (NL - most underrated and unique sounding power-thrashers)
Mercyful Fate (DAN)
Wolverine (NL - too bad they only did one EP)
Tierra Santa (SP)
Anubis Gate (SWE)
High Power (FR)
Adramelch (IT)
Comma (TUR)
End Zone (RUS)
Accept - because of the first four albums, not to be excluded!

But... is it all 'Euro Metal'? That is indeed the question

 Hmm, tough question...of course I would have mentioned Adramelch...all bands you were talking about are strictly of european origin, Endzone shred supreme by the way but their musical direction often keeps them from being categorized as EUROMETAL. That was a certain style, straight heavymetal with good melodies, a strong character in the compositorial department, hmm, mostly straight compositions, the traditional heavy metal as it was known back in the early 80s. A band like The Rods would have been categorized as EUROMETAL if they would not be american but maybe dutch...that was the style, with slight variations in the language like those french bands or spanish bands. Tierra Santa could surely be added as the current leader band in that direction, I do not want to add Hammerfall for they are just plain flat to me while Tierra Santa have depth and magick in their songs. Adramelch, I would not put them into this direction as well, to me this is a crossover of this typical peculiar mystic metal like Brocas Helm or even early Fates Warning and the early progressive Metal, very playful, very powerful (even with that fragile sound).

Hell yes.. How could I forget the mighty Hard'n Hard... !! B) :D

But seriously: did they release more than one demo-tape? And they are amongst your favorite Euro-Metal-Bands?

Dustin, I think the "European"-style that many music-fans from the US like so much is indeed the Stratovarius-, Nocturnal Rites-, HammerFall - kind of Metal - no matter if many of our board-users don't like that... ;)

Sorry, I mean "Hard`n Heart"!
They released in the eighties the 4-track-ep "Innocent and sinful"!
A silly bandname, but it`s great powermetal in the style of old Metal Church!
Great record!
