Past issues...soon available?!

Hopefully this topic will finally receive some feedback for a change!

Well I have an idea to release past issues from issue 7 til 13 on cd, so people interested will be able to order an issue on cd for a low price. It will be a PDF file so everybody can open it and print it themselves.
What do you think?

The first issue I discovered was Issue 7, any chance of any issues before that? I would love to finally be able to read some of the back issues I haven't seen yet!

Well unfortunately issue 5/6 were done with another software which I don't even own so I can't even install it and get those files working...wish I did, as far as the first 4, they were done by Frank and UNFORTUNATELY he doesn't have them anymore on paper (masters) so I can't do anything.... the only ones that can be saved are issue 7 til issue 13 -I don't count 14 and 15 as they were printed pro format again...

Yeah you would buy the whole package but how about people who only need one issue? It's HARD to please everyone that's why I think it's easier to separate each issue..... I mean I did try to find away to solve this problem as there's always people looking for past issues so..
The price will probably be something like $3 for one issue so I think it's FAIR no?!

I think that is a cool idea bro! I own all issues except #2 (for whatever reason I can't remember!) but I would buy some anyway just to save my paper copies from getting beat up from reading them. Viewing them in Adobe Acrobat would be good enough if you wanted to look something up or read an article again. Great idea! $3 is fair enough.

It would be just as easy to put them all on one CD, just separate files. This would make it far easier to manage the inventory. While I know it would be a lot of work, you could always scan all the early issues and build PDFs out of the tif files. You wouldn't be able to charge $3 for the whole set though.

What software were you using before? It is possible that I might be able to open the older issues and create PDFs if you were interested. Email me directly if you are as I dont' get by here that often.
