Nolli: The whole album has that gothic,period horror kind of feel like Le Fanu's novellete or an old Hammer film. To my mind,Phil's voice evokes images of misty graveyards,beautiful vampire women and clandestine witches' sabbats past midnight,deep in the woods.

Nolli: I have been talking with Lionel Baker here lately and he is going to start painting the cover soon(as it gets closer to Halloween.) I told him I want something a little closer to the style of the first Black Sabbath album cover but not copying it.

Phil Swanson is an excellent choice to bring forth the atmosphere this kind of music demands...
Definitely the best thing he did in a long time !

Still I hope one day Cauldron Born will wake from it's ancient slumber to continue one of the most original US Metal bands from the 90's...
I pray some of the innovating doom haunting "Unholy sanctuary" on the first Cauldron Born album will echo through Briton Rites...

Necroglyph: Thank you! We are still trying to get the album out in January. I am waiting on the album cover. I would rather that Lionel take his time than for him to rush it and it not be as good as it could be.

As of now,I plan to follow this debut album up with another Briton Rites album and then maybe I can start concentrating on a Cauldron Born album, if all goes well with the label.

For some reason, my computer refuses to open the audio clip links. I'll have to wait for the album to hear what the material sounds like, but I am by nature a patient man. And, yes, the references to ancient Black Sabbath and Witchfinder General do give a fair idea of the style.

Rantanplan: I had so many delays,that I am going to wait until the CD is in my hands before I announce its release. It is supposed to ship out to me today or tomorrow. Stay tuned!

As far as vinyl,I am going to have to look into that more. I want the album on vinyl for myself,if nothing else. But I am afraid of investing too much money too fast,and not having enough left to continue Echoes Of Crom. I already have Blacksword lined up to release,as soon as Lionel Baker finishes the album cover painting and delivers it to me.

Cimmerer: I am glad you like what you heard of THE RIGHT HAND OF DOOM. The Solomon Kane stories always had a very Doomy feel to them,as far as I am concerned. I have a Howardian trilogy planned for the second Briton Rites album.
