You mean the BRITON RITES? Unfortunately the answer is nope. I spoke to Howie briefly the other day and as it looks like it most probably will be self-released once Howie set up a label.

rapanzel: I would like to be able to let you guys hear the stuff but I don't want it to spoil the album experience as those two songs that I am shopping will be on the album. I am in the process of raising the money to start my own label which is no easy feat considering the current state of the economy. I hope to have the first Briton Rites album out by the end of the year. As for Cauldron Born, I would like to record another Cauldron Born album but Briton Rites and getting my label started are my priorities at this point. Thanks.

Thanks guys! Working on the full length now. I finally got a copy of that METAL CRUSADE compilation in the mail yesterday. So far I have just flipped through it but it seems like Briton Rites was the only Doom band on it.

Great news, Howie. I'm really lookin' forward to the album. The song titles sound really cool. I'm especially psyched to hear "Vampire Hunter, 1600", as for some reason I have a pretty weak spot for those bloodsuckers... ;) Good luck with the recording and keep me posted, I'm definitely gonna buy the album as soon as it's out!!

Nolli: The whole album has that gothic,period horror kind of feel like Le Fanu's novellete or an old Hammer film. To my mind,Phil's voice evokes images of misty graveyards,beautiful vampire women and clandestine witches' sabbats past midnight,deep in the woods.
