I'm very excited to announce our next release will be no other but a MASSIVE FATAL VIOLENCE CD/DVD combo - a complete collection of everything this cult US 80es speed band have ever recorded. Included are not only the famous 1985 demo which landed a song on Metal Massacre compilation, but also a never previously released second demo and a DVD with complete live performance recorded at the Thirsty Whale, Franklin Park, IL in 1987

I'm looking forward seeing this one released asap, hopefully David will use some of the holiday time and finish mixing and mastering the 2-nd demo, so we can get this one rolling! It should be massive release!

In other news, I'm in final negotiation stages with Patrick for a Double CD set of HELD UNDER / DISCOVERY anthology. I'll be sending him a contract tonight, and if all is well, in a week Dimitar shall start drawing the artwork (or whenever he finish the Iron Age project he is working on right now).

A crucial update to let everyone know the mixing and mastering has been completed. If all goes according to plan I should have the audio and video masters in several weeks.

As soon as I receive the masters will start edditing the DVD and making the booklet layouts. :drinkers:

Still long way to go before it is released, but at least the things are starting to move forward.

I wonder if this will be a good opportunity for my first LP release... :unsure:

Finally some good news about this release! So someone heard my prayers... maybe.

I guess there are many interests for a vinyl release. To have this artwork in big is quite temptating. Even I - who very seldom buys vinyl - would buy this. I could also imagine that many people would like to see the Amulance cd on vinyl, too.

I've been apporached by some labels inquiring vinyl licenses of my releases, but none of the offers so far have been good enough to attract me.

Since the LP market seems to be in uprising at the moment I may take the opportunity and do some limited LP pressings myself. We shall see.

I received the FATAL VIOLENCE remixed and remastered masters today. I hate to boast about my own releases, but this singlehandedly is one of the very best power/speed US releases from the 80s. Especially the tracks from the previously unreleased demo II 1987 are the most intense and dark power metal I've personally heard from that era!

Everyone today seems to praise Texas 80s scene, but I'd say with bands like Fatal Violence, Amulance, Enforcer, and Slauter Xtroyes, just to name a few, Chicago scene is on par, if not superior to Texans.

The feeling of listening to the demo 1987, knowing I'm the first person after David Enlow to listen to it (it was mixed from the multitrack tapes for the first time just recently, never previously released in any form!) is undescribable! I still get goosebumps all over just thinking of it.

If you dig dark mystique crunchy US power/speed metal with apocalyptic/doomy lyrics, look no further! Just make a room next to your Slauter Xtroyes, Enforcer (IL), Amulance CDs and have your ears pricked, coz "Ashes Tell No Tales" is coming! We take no prisoners
