Greetingz all!

I have finally updated the Sacred Blade site to take orders for the new OTHYRWORLD album, as well as the limited edition Of the Sun + Moon CD. I hope that I have made the site easier to use. I had hoped to have the new OTHYRWORLD site online, but there is still too much work to do on it.

No, you're kidding! I expect the next Othyrworld/Sacred Blade-Release some time around 2010...
By the way: Does Othyrworld mean that (the name) Sacred Blade is history now?

If I have my way, there will be a new album before the end of next year, and who knows, I may even get the demo rerelease out before then too.

There is still life left in Sacred Blade, although I don't want to say too much right now.

Well, I couldn't believe that the Othyrworld cd is out until I had it in my hands. Now that I listened to it a few times I know that it was worth all the wait. A real masterpiece of metal, which - in my opinion - belongs into the eternal hall of fame.

I am looking forward for more Othyrworld/ Sacred Blade stuff in the future!

April...it will be april before I can buy a copy of the Othyrworld, but it really interests me...is it any similar to the older stuff or more the current progressive metal like Dream Theater or even Nevermore...I need to know that, for I am not a fan of the current morse alphabet rhythms and guitar picking...to me prog sounds like Rush, Sacred Blade, Hemlock...epic, playful, heavy in parts, gentle in others, with a warm and living sound...I have high hopes...mate

The new album is in the same style as the original Sacred Blade album, containing updated versions (my "Director's Cut") of the majority of Of the Sun + Moon along with twenty minutes of brand new material. Judging by your description, I think you'll like it.

Due to Ted's accident, it will probably be next year before we can even think of playing out. In the meantime I am working on the new album, which we'll hopefully have out next year as well. I know, you'll believe it when you see it!

Yes, Ted was run down by a moving van last year, which (among other things) shattered his right elbow, which is now held together with screws and metal rods. He is in intensive rehabilitation now, but progress is slow. We will work on, don't worry.

I am still looking at my options for distribution. I can't say much more than that at the moment. If you need a fresh copy of the Of the Sun + Moon album, I know where you can find a limited edition CD...
